Hezbollah is proud to buy precision-guided missiles, saying “revenge is coming”

On Sunday, in an interview with the Beirut-based Arab Al-Mayadeen TV, Hezbollah General Secretary Hassan Nasrallah said that the Lebanese-based political party had stepped up its military capabilities and was now able to accurately reach anywhere in Israel and Israel’s occupied Palestinian territories.

Known as one of Israel’s arch rivals, the Iran-backed militant group reported that it had doubled its acquisition of precision-guided missiles compared to the previous year. The group leader said that amid Israel’s impeding efforts, it was a great accomplishment for the Lebanon-based group as it did so.”Nasrallah expressed pride in the fact that the news of his increased military prowess was tapped by Israel during the four-hour long interview, and said that the latter had no knowledge of it because the data was kept in a “very close circle.

Nasrallah said during the interview given to the pro-Hezbollah media community, “The number of precision missiles at the disposal of the resistance has now doubled from what they were a year ago.” Every target we want to hit accurately in the area of occupied Palestine, we are able to hit accurately. As Nasrallah threatened that the Shiite party was all prepared to take revenge for the deaths of Iranian Supreme General Qassim Soleimani and nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the news was followed by growing tensions in the region.

He told Al-Mayadeen TV while sitting with a photo of Soleimani, “That revenge is coming no matter how long it takes.” Nasrallah added that Iranian allies will also avenge Israel’s killing of Ali Kamel Mohsen Jawad, a Hezbollah militant, who was killed in a series of airstrikes in Syria in July.Nasrallah, in an interview, accused the Saudi Kingdom of plotting with the US to kill him. “Our data shows that during his visit to Washington, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman raised the issue of my assassination,” he said, adding that the Americans “agreed with a Saudi request to assassinate me, so that Israel would implement it.”

Israeli intelligence forces also alleged that the group’s leader was living in a bunker because of the same threat. Nasrallah also condemned the recent normalisation agreements between the Arab world and Israel, and said that he was “not surprised by the Arab letdown, because most of the Arab regimes used to sell the Palestinians only words.”Nasrallah said that the group’s Islamic ally, Iran, would only concentrate on negotiating its nuclear deal with Washington and would not negotiate regional disputes with the US, with reference to the change of regime in the White House and the takeover of Joe Biden as the next US President.
